Which approach should I choose: Clinical Hypnotherapy, Womb Regression, or Past Life Regression?
Clinical hypnotherapy, womb regression, and past life regression techniques use the same induction process; however, each technique explores different timelines.
All of our experiences from birth and any past lives are recorded in our mind, body, and soul.
Clinical hypnotherapy and womb regression typically recover memories and events from this lifetime. You will explore the limiting beliefs that were formed, often on an unconscious level, as a result of current life experiences.
In contrast, a past life regression is a journey back in time to recover memories and events from the past. You will explore the limiting beliefs that were formed, often on an unconscious level, as a result of any past lives.
It is best practice to begin with a clinical hypnotherapy session and eventually move into regression work, if necessary. That said, some individuals may have a desire to experience the time in their mother's womb or any past lives in order to satisfy their curiosity.

Can I be hypnotized?
Most individuals can be hypnotized. In fact, you spontaneously enter a hypnotic trance on a daily basis.
Ever stare out a window and slip into a vivid, internal train of thought while your physical surroundings fade out? Daydreaming is a common example.
Ever drive a familiar route only to arrive at your destination with almost no memory of the actual journey or the turns you took? Driving on autopilot is another example.
Ever become so engrossed in a task that you completely lose track of time and the environment around you? Watching a movie, playing a video game, or reading a book are additional examples.
In these moments, you are in a relaxed and highly focused state. The same mechanism used in formal hypnosis to bypass the conscious mind and access the subconscious mind.
Some individuals may experience a deep trance during their first session, while others may require more time to relax and enter a hypnotic trance. Your experience depends on your expectations and willingness to enter a hypnotic state.
Is hypnosis mind control?
Hypnosis is not mind control. A practitioner cannot make you do anything against your will or morals. You choose to enter a trance state and actively participate in the process. You always retain the power to reject any suggestions made by the practitioner and can stop a session at any time.
Hollywood and stage shows often portray hypnosis as a zombie like trance that strips away your free will. This is a myth. Stage hypnotists use a combination of auditioning, social pressure, and psychological momentum so that the willing participant's imagination can take over and play along for an entertaining performance.
Hypnosis is a powerful tool for personal change, not a means to dominate or control others. It is a collaboration between the practitioner and client.
How many sessions will I need in order to experience lasting change?
The number of sessions you need to achieve lasting change depends on the nature of your issue, your goal, your response to the process, your willingness to practice self hypnosis between sessions, and your desire for change. Some individuals may only require a few sessions while others may require longer term care.
Generally speaking, the average individual willing to engage the process may only require four to six sessions in order to address a surface level issue. By contrast, the same individual may require six or more sessions to address a complex, deeply rooted issue. Then again, it is not uncommon for an individual to experience lasting change after a single session.
Please note that hypnosis is not a quick fix. It is a cumulative process. Weekly or biweekly sessions are highly recommended. Waiting longer than two weeks to meet with a practitioner can make it difficult for the subconscious mind to maintain momentum.
What if I fall asleep during a session?
The brain transitions between different states of electrical activity during a hypnosis session.
The Beta state is the active, alert, and analytical waking state. In this state, the critical mind is highly active.
The Alpha (light trance) state can be best described as the "bridge into hypnosis" state. As an induction begins, the brain slows down and critical thinking takes a step back as the individual starts to relax.
The Theta (deep trance) state is a deeply relaxed state often associated with deep hypnosis. In this state, the conscious mind's critical factor drops entirely, allowing for deep access to the subconscious mind.
Hypnotherapists use specific techniques to guide an individual into a Theta state. Generally speaking, an individual floats between the Alpha and Theta states throughout a session.
Nevertheless, there may be an occasion where an individual transitions from the Theta state into a Delta state. The Delta state is associated with dreamless sleep.
It is a myth that an individual can get "stuck" in a hypnotic trance and not wake up if they fall asleep. The individual will simply drift into a natural, restorative sleep and wake up on their own if they enter a Delta state during a session. And the subconscious mind will remain receptive while they sleep.
Are virtual sessions as effective as in-person sessions?
Virtual (remote, online) sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. In fact, this format offers distinct advantages.
Being in a familiar and safe environment can enhance a state of relaxation, allowing you to settle into a trance faster and be more open to suggestions.
In addition, it is easier to commit to sessions. For example, no need to consider the commute, weather, or parking.
Furthermore, you are not bound by physical borders and can choose a professional who best suits your needs.
Effective hypnosis depends on clear communication, and modern technology makes meaningful connections remarkably easy.
Can I book a session if English is not my first language?
You can work with our practitioner if English is not your first language. As the client, you must identify a family member, friend, or professional interpreter to translate on behalf of the practitioner.
The ideal interpreter is a professional translator that has exposure to hypnosis. Alternatively, family members can be effective if they understand that they are not to influence the process in any way.
Sessions can be highly emotional. As a result, it is essential that the interpreter remain neutral and not allow any emotions to affect the translation process.
